Overall Ranking
The Lifetime Benchmark
• ACCESS
Open to all passoPRO tiers. All climbs are automatically eligible.
• CLIMBS
Includes all passoPRO selected Climbs meeting standards for verified GPS segment
• SCORING PERIOD
Lifetime accumulation. No seasonal reset.
• REPETITION RULE
Each climb may be counted a maximum of 3 times per calendar year. No lifetime cap applies.
• PURPOSE
Defines the all-time legacy leaderboard across the entire passoPRO ecosystem.
Europe
Regional Challenge Europe
• ELIGIBILITY
Restricted to athletes whose official country of residence is located in Europe. Residency as of January 1 of the competition year determines eligibility.
• SCOPE
Selected climbs located within European countries.
• SCORING PERIOD
January 1 through December 31. Resets annually.
• REPETITION RULE
Each climb may be counted up to 3 times per season.
• PRIZE THRESHOLD
Physical prizes may be released only if the challenge reaches a minimum of 50 participants.
World
Regional Challenge World
• ELIGIBILITY
Restricted to athletes whose official country of residence is outside Europe. Residency as of January 1 of the competition year determines eligibility.
• SCOPE
Selected climbs located outside Europe.
• SCORING PERIOD
January 1 through December 31. Resets annually.
• REPETITION RULE
Each climb may be counted up to 3 times per season.
• PRIZE THRESHOLD
Physical prizes may be released only if the challenge reaches a minimum of 50 participants.
Classics
The Monuments of Cycling
• ELIGIBILITY
Open to all tiers.
• SCORING PERIOD
January 1 through December 31. Resets annually.
• REPETITION RULE
Each climb may be counted up to 3 times per season.
• PRIZE THRESHOLD
Physical prizes may be released only if the challenge reaches a minimum of 50 participants.
Grand Tours
Giro d'Italia, Tour de France and Vuelta
• ELIGIBILITY
Restricted to Yellow and Legend tiers.
• ROUTE SELECTION
Selected official climbs from the current season routes of the Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and Vuelta a Espana.
• SCORING PERIOD
January 1 through December 31. Resets annually.
• REPETITION RULE
Each climb may be counted up to 3 times per season.
• PRIZE THRESHOLD
Physical prizes may be released only if the challenge reaches a minimum of 50 participants.
Legends
The Elite Summit
• ELIGIBILITY
Restricted to Legend tier, passoPRO PLUS.
• SCOPE
Selected climbs designated for the Legends category.
• SCORING PERIOD
January 1 through December 31. Resets annually.
• REPETITION RULE
Each climb may be counted up to 3 times per season.
• PRIZE THRESHOLD
Physical prizes may be released only if the challenge reaches a minimum of 50 participants.
Rankings Logic
Standings are published by partition:
• Overall
• Sex: Men / Women
• Sex + Age Group: U35 / 35+
To qualify as a Finisher and receive official badges, athletes must complete a minimum of 5 climbs within the specific challenge.
Challenge Activation
All challenges are active from the beginning of the season and do not require a minimum number of participants to start.
Leaderboards and standings remain active regardless of participation levels.
Minimum thresholds apply only for the release of physical prizes.
Equipment Rules
Participation in passoPRO challenges is restricted to muscular bicycles only.
The use of e-bikes, electric-assisted bicycles, motorized bicycles, scooters, or any other motor-assisted vehicles is strictly prohibited.
Activities recorded using such equipment will not be eligible for rankings and may result in disqualification.
Professional Riders
Professional riders are not allowed to participate in any passoPRO challenge, including the Overall Ranking.
Fair Play & Integrity
All results are calculated using official Strava segments and are subject to automated GPS verification.
Any attempt to manipulate activity data, falsify results, or bypass verification systems will result in an immediate lifetime ban from all competitive passoPRO challenges.
Inaugural Season Qualification (2026)
For the 2026 season only, access requirements for certain challenges are temporarily adjusted.
Grand Tours
Athletes may participate in the Grand Tours challenges once they have completed a minimum of 10 selected climbs recorded within the passoPRO system.
Legends
Athletes may participate in the Legends challenge once they have completed a minimum of 20 selected climbs recorded within the passoPRO system.
These temporary qualification rules apply only for the 2026 season.
Starting from January 1, 2027, the standard tier requirements (Yellow and Legend respectively) will apply as defined in the official passoPRO Challenge Rules.
